Services
Gallica offers two main services in Georgia: research, and standalone data-analysis.
Research set-up
Gallica can design the study, and analyze the data for you, including a power analysis. We also do write-ups of methods in a grant, IRB, PhD, Master's thesis, or scientific article. We do not just help you with ways to provide us with the data, and analyze the data, we also help with writing up the report, which may or may not include the writing of the academic method and result section, or work on the method section in a grant section. As biostatistician services often include authorship, this will be discussed before the work starts.
Data-analysis
Do you have statistical result, but you have no idea what any of it means or which conclusions are correct? Would you like to know how the data connect to some other data you have? Or are you already analyzing the data but do you want to go further than what your software allows?
We can analyze the data for you, and show you exactly what the data means for you. If you need simplicity, we are here for you. If you are ready for something more complex to do with the data, we are your research experts that can make the complex sound simple.
Known Methods and Analyses
Gallica adheres to strict ethical guidelines, and is familiar with university IRBs (ethical review boards).
Our preferred method is quantitative, although we have previously worked in a multimethod approach.
We know how to test for normality, do basic statistical tests (t-test, chi square test, fisher's exact test, mann-whitney, kruskal-wallis, one way anova, exploratory principal component analysis) and more advanced statistical tests (two way anova, mixed anova, repeated measures anova, binomial logistic regression, nominal/ordinal/categorical logistic regression, survival analysis, structural equation modeling, confirmatory factor analysis). We know the assumptions to adhere to for each test, so you know the results are reliable. We can of course also weight your results for you for optimal representativeness of your sample.
What is the process?
First, you contact us to ask for a proposal, or for a conversation on the phone.
Make sure you include the purpose (phd thesis, master's thesis, research publication, media publication, ...).
Mention the rough scope of the job to be done, and the timeline during which you need the job done. We will reply with an estimated budget or a request for more information.
Then, we talk about what we can do for you, and how. The pricing, apart from the actual project. also includes multiple feedback rounds with you and your team, possible (online or in person) meetings, and project management. Prices depend on the type of project and the size of the project.
Gallica promises you conclusions you can actually work with, in a language you understand.
